Still in Iowa
"We've had as high as 6 in the past two weeks. Just 2 coming this week," reports Jim in Monona, Iowa.
On October 2, Dorothy in Dubuque, Iowa had a plump hummingbird at her feeder and said, "I hope she leaves soon. Freezing temps are predicted for this weekend."
