Plant Study

Get ready to dig in! Plant a Journey North Tulip Garden so you can proclaim the official arrival of spring in your community. Students across the Northern Hemisphere will follow the wave of Spring, 2003.

Track the Monarch Migration to Mexico!

The migration began in August in northern regions and the first butterflies arrived in Mexico in late October. Get ready to track their migration north next spring.

Symbolic Monarch

The 6th Annual Symbolic Monarch Butterfly Migration is underway! Students across the U.S. and Canada sent symbolic butterflies to Mexico for the winter. Mexican students will watch over them and return the butteflies next spring when the real monarchs journey north.
