Back to this week's update.

Hey, Good Lookin'...
This male crane's bright red crown makes him really good looking: He knows it. A crane can make his blood rush up to brighten his crown, rather like a human's blushing, when he wants his good looks to impress a potential mate or to show aggression. A bright red crown and beautiful plumage are clues to a female that this would be a good, strong mate. How is choosing the right mate important to crane survival? How do cranes choose a mate to last a lifetime and help raise chicks? Explore with us in this week's report!
