Meet Class of 2010: Chick 1003
Hatched May 5, #1003 is from an egg from a crane pair at Calgary Zoo in Canada. After walking training outdoors, chick #1003 met the ultralight trike—another "parent"— on May 11. The colored leg band helps biologists know which chick this is.
