Since the overwintering Monarchs in Mexico have been there twice as long as
the average life span of a spring/summer Monarch, we have decided that these
butterflies are equivalent to a 144 year old person. We think their wings
are probably faded, their bodies thinner, and they are probably less
energetic. It seems amazing that some of them will make it to Texas. Ms.
