    1. The Caribou is the main source of food and clothing for people in our region

    2. It is a common belief here that the Aurora borealis will swoop down and cut off the heads of people who whistle and shout at them. The heads are then used to play a sort of kickball game.

    3. In our first settlers language these are the seasons: Raumati, Hotoke, Ngahuru and Koanga.

    4. Our City is approximately 336km2 in area, and about 15 m above sea level.

    5. Not one native has blond hair. Some have nearly black skin. Others look like Native Americans and even have totem poles
