    Dearjourney north people,
We are answering the Journey North Challenge Question about
groundhogs. Since we don't have groundhogs here in California, we decided
    to use in
it's place the California Ground Squirrel. It hibernates and comes out the
second week in spring. You can usually tell by seeing the squirrel and
    holes in the acorns.
