  • Challenge Question # 1

During which decade did the population grow at the fastest rate? Why do
    you think this occured?

The '90's had the greatest increase. I think it occurred because there
might have been more blue crabs for the cranes to eat or that people
knew how to take better care of them than they did in the 60's and 70's.
People now might have learned more about the cranes and found out some
information such as migration, habitats, and what they eat. People back
then might not have had this knowledge which would have helped the
    cranes to survive.

My name is Hilary Lawton and I am in 7th grade at Lock Haven Junior High
School. I like to read, swim, and play with my cats. Over the summer I am
going to go to Maine,Florida,Chicago and maybe Vancouver.
