Wedge Tornado
Tornadoes can vary in wind speed, size, and damage potential. A wedge (or barrel) tornado is a large, wide tornado with a thick, sloping shape. Some tornadoes of this size can reach a mile wide, and occasionally occur when several smaller tornadoes combine. These tornadoes are likely to be very violent and, if they occur in settled areas, very damaging.
