our city. Our latest exit polls, of a random sample of
those leaving polling places around the city, show that

evening, you are listening to WQXL radio. We have some
surprising news to report this evening. Earlier in the
day we reported that our exit polls showed that
mayoral candidates Higgins and Fletcher were in a dead
heat. However, our latest surveys, taken right before
voting ended, show that Stephanie Higgins will win the
election by a landslide. Our reporter Margaret Velling is
at Fletcher headquarters now."
