Collision 2: Glancing collsion

Two bumper cars are in a collision. Each car has a mass of 300 kilograms. In the red car is a man with a mass of 90 kilograms. In the green car is a woman with a mass of 45 kilograms. Both cars are traveling at the same velocity. They hit each other at an angle in a glancing collision.

What does the collision look like? Select one of the two outcomes below.

 

The red car is deflected at a sharper angle than the green car. The green car speeds up. The red car slows down.

The green car is deflected at a sharper angle than the red car. The green car speeds up. The red car slows down.
