Converting Fahrenheit to Celsius

Converting Fahrenheit temperatures into Celsius temperatures takes three simple steps:
  1. Subtract 32 from the Fahrenheit number.

  2. Divide the answer by 9.

  3. Multiply that answer by 5.

As a formula, the conversion looks like this:

Tc = (5/9)*(Tf-32)

Tc = temperature in Celsius degrees and
Tf = temperature in Fahrenheit degrees
