Applying Connections
Introduction | Falling Objects | Problem Reflection | Classroom Practice | Classroom Checklist | Your Journal

In the previous sections, you studied some rich mathematical problems, reflected on student solution processes, explored your own approach to solving a problem, and studied a variety of elements of the Connections Standard.

Now that you are familiar with the Standard and some of its aspects, we'd like you to apply it. Before we look at some students' work, we have a set of problems for you to consider. As you work, think about the mathematical connections you can identify in this activity. How might you help your students make similar connections?
