Use the information you learned in this session to plan a lesson for one of your classes. The task or problem you choose should lend itself to a variety of forms of reasoning and types of proof. It should also offer an opportunity to help students understand some aspect of age-appropriate rigorous and formal mathematical work. You may want to modify or extend a task similar to ones we have introduced in this session.
Or you may use a task related to an area of mathematics that your class has begun to study or select one of the samples Learning Math courses.
After you have created your lesson plan, use the Classroom Checklist (an Adobe PDF document) to evaluate it.
