[Channel-talkmathhs] New to lists/Annenberg Media

Hi, to anyone. I'm very new (and uncertain) when it comes to this e-mail list business. I'm not exactly sure how it all works.

I just registered for the on-line course "Teaching Math 9-12" and am planning to also register for the grad credits from CSU so that my district will accept it.

I've got my MA in math, have been teaching since '72, and have been taking various distance learning courses (mostly math, some technology) over the past few years but I have never taken an actual "on-line" course.

I checked the archived messages but there doesn't seem to be much there. I think it would be nice if there could be dialogue that allows for bouncing ideas around. Anyone else out there?
