For the crime of converting to Christianity, Iranian authorities arrested Ebrahim for espionage. Upon his release, he fled with his ten-year-old son, Nima. In a refugee camp in Germany, he and his son were physically attacked for their faith. “I never expected the persecution to follow me to Germany,” he says.
