I can help with 2 of your questions:
I thought about session 2 H5 as a countably infinite set of countably
infinite sets to which counting values could be assigned.
For H7, I started with 1/2 = 5/10, and as I broke up the fraction I
looked for the parts to be broken into into denominators of powers of
5 and powers of 10. So 5/10 became 4/10 + 1/10, because 4/10 = 2/5
or 2/5 to the first power. The 1/1o became 10/100 so that I could break
it into 8/100 ( or 2/25) + 2/100. When I got to 2/5 + 2/25 + 2/125 I
realized that in base 5 this was .222.
