I think it is very important to post vocabulary and concepts on walls as charts or posters so they ideas are readily available as reference points. I would brainstorm, access prior knowledge, and posted the outcomes before introducing the "Solutin Grid" acitivty.. Some of the misconceptions my be avoided this way.
