[Teacher-talkmeasurement] Measurement Session 1

I really enjoyed this session as I was able to truly understand the reasons we measure objects. Many students question when they should measure objects and the type of measurement tool they should use. I think it is very important for students to understand the various reasons they measure items and how they are able to get the most precious measurements. I have found that students' measurements can be off because they are not precise in their data, which then reflects their final answer as it is off. Finally, I think the homework problems created made me think about how I can use those different methods of figuring out which animal is the largest. It made me think about what I feel is most appropriate and why and how to go about showing my data. The data was visual and allowed me to see what the student's thinking was and verify the results.
