Thanks, Janet, for clarifying these terms. At this point, I guess I just
need to remember median as vertex to midpoint and midline as joining of
midpoints. With the trapezoid, I have to give it some more thoughts...

These can be very confusing terms. In a triangle the median is the segment
from a vertex to the midpoint of the opposite side. The midline is the
segment joining the midpoints of any two sides. But, in a trapezoid, the
median is the segment joining the midpoints of the two non-parallel sides.
Hence, the confusion.
