    Hello,
It is hard fo me to find time to chat along with all the other writing with
    this class.
The challenge in this unit is how to incorporate the understanding of
DNA into a unit about animal life cycles in a meaningful way.
My thoughts are to work with family pictures. Kids can conceive of a
family resemblance. Over generations through pictures this can be
seen as well. To add in a family tree illustration may clarify or
    confuse.
As well if pictures can be found, illustrate dog or cat families. A black
furred mom and a tan furred dad then show the variations of offspring.
Then shaw a white mom and a white dad and their offspring.
I have enjoyed this unit more than others.
