F. Jay Haynes and his son, Jack, photographed Yellowstone National Park from 1881 until Jack Haynes' death in 1962. The father and son team produced thousands of photographs that sold as postcards and guidebooks to market Yellowstone to national tourists. Their photographs also reached a global audience when they appeared in European resorts, international publications, and onboard Atlantic steamers.
