We viewed the first tape and found the interaction between the kids to be
very
interesting particularly when they had the wrong answers and did not seem
to feel a
need to explain it to each other even though the numbers were different,.
In the case
of the two girls, they had the same wrong answer and never knew that it was
wrong.
As long as it was done, they were satisfied.
I struggle with how to raise the quality of my students work without giving
them the
answers either in the back of the book, doing them with them or by reading
them off
up front.
I do like the focus on process that this study seems to keep. I look
forward to the next
viewing.
