free series of 8 professional development workshops for K-12 principals
Please
join us for a FREE video workshop series by, for, 
and
about principals working to improve student achievement in mathematics
and science. Using documentary footage gathered in schools from Maine
to California, the workshops will help principals gain the knowledge
and skills they need to make their vision of teaching and learning math
and science a reality.
Participants will learn about the impact of state and national standards, discuss varied approaches to teaching and learning in math and science, see new curricula being implemented, and compare effective models of professional development for teachers and principals.
We
encourage principals to participate in these workshops in groups. Partic
ipants
may schedule their workshop around a direct broadcast, or may tape the
broadcasts and schedule the workshops at a more convenient time.
