Hi - What a great question! Yes the projector is a far cry from the old
opaque projects. And it was a great tool for us to use in videotaping the
workshops. Actually, a number of companies make this piece of
equipment. I believe the one we used is made by Sony, and is called a
VideoPro 110. The cost will vary, depending on where you purchase it, but
they are in the neighborhood of $1500 - $2000. It uses a 'video out'
connection to a television monitor, and provides a clear, readable view of
both transparencies and solid objects.
