Professional Development in November
Two workshops will be rebroadcast starting this month. New
American Schools: Getting Better by Design examines educational
issues for K-12 educators. Beginning on November 3, it will broadcast
for nine Saturdays. In
Search of the Novel, for English language arts teachers of grades
6-12, will air on eight Sundays, beginning November 4. Last minute workshop

Discovering Psychology Updated
The producers of Discovering
Psychology have completed a full review of this popular series.
Thirteen programs have been updated and all-new programs have replaced
"In Space, Toward Peace," "A Union of Opposites," and "New Directions,"
which have been withdrawn from distribution. All Annenberg Channel
feeds of Discovering Psychology will feature the updated version
of the series.
Get the Credit You Deserve
To ensure that everyone who completes a workshop receives a Certificate
of Participation, please register
as a site each time a workshop is presented. Online
registration only takes a moment, and makes sure your participants
get the credit they deserve.
Prepare for Journey North
Special one-hour
broadcasts will air to provide teachers background to implement the
popular Journey North in
their classrooms. This program will be broadcast Saturday, November 3,
and Tuesday, November 13, at 8 A.M. and 1 P.M. ET.
