AMC-3 Ku setup procedure-
Define Port 1, "horizontal" polarity input:
From the high-level menus, arrow to 'Installation' and press 'Enter'.
Arrow down twice to the "Modulation" line. Arrow right to 'Mode', press 'Enter'.
Up/Down arrow to change "Auto" to " DCII-Manual." Press 'Enter' to return cursor to the top line.
Arrow right to 'Symbol' and press 'Enter'. Arrow down until Symbol, Code and Format are 3.25, 3/4 and Combined, respectively.
Press 'Enter' to return the cursor to the top line.
Arrow left to place the cursor at the first column.
Arrow up twice to the "Manual Tune" line.
Arrow right to "Port" and press 'Enter'.
Arrow up/down until 1 is selected; press 'Enter' to return the cursor to the top line. Acknowledge the "Caution" message by pressing 'Enter'.
Arrow right to "Type" and press 'Enter'.
Using the up or down button, set the type to 'Custom' and press 'Enter' to return the cursor to the top line.
Acknowledge the "Caution" message by pressing 'Enter'.
Arrow right to "L-Freq" and press 'Enter'.
Using the left/right and up/down arrows, set the frequency to 1400.75.
Press 'Enter' to return the cursor to the top row. Press 'Enter' to acknowledge the "Caution" message.
The IRD should tune and acquire the Digicipher II signal. After the Digicipher light is illuminated, allow 90 seconds for the channel map to load.
Place the cursor at the left most position and press 'Enter' to select the high level menus.
Arrow down once to display 'Channel Selection' and press 'Enter'.
Right arrow to "VCTs Avail" and press 'Enter'. At 'ID_Number', press 'Enter'.
Using the up/down arrows, scroll until '15' is displayed.
Press 'Enter' to select the map, indicated with an asterisk, and return the cursor to the top row.
Arrow left and press 'Enter'.
Arrow to 'Chnl' and press 'Enter'.
Using the up/down and left/right arrows, select or input channel '514'.
The IRD should momentarily unlock, indicate "Bypass", and acquire lock with "Digicipher" light, "Authorize" should then light and the service outputted.
