Reflect on the following questions, and answer one in light of the students and content you teach.


Questions to write and reflect about:
  • Select a mathematics task that you currently use with your students. What are some mathematical concepts that could be connected within this task? Brainstorm a list.
  • Which of your daily classroom routines could be connected with mathematical concepts?
  • Select one of your favorite picture books. How could you use it to introduce a mathematics problem?
Three ways to write and reflect:
  • Use pen and paper.
  • Use a word processor.
  • Use the form below.
