    There is a median in this sense: Q3 should divide the upper half of the data into two equal pieces--if the data is clumped together like 109 and 109 then the median lies with the data as follows:
      
    For example if the data was 20, 22, 28, 30
    we would have
    Q2 = 25, Q1 = 21, and Q3 = 29.
     
    If the data just a bit different:
    20, 22, 28, 28
    we would still have Q2 = 25, Q1 = 21, but now Q3 must be 28.
