Topic Description: How does the "reduce red eye" button on a camera work? What causes people in photographs to sometimes have a red eye?

We discussed this in class. Redeye is caused when the light from the flash of the camera hits the blood vessels on the retina. In order to reduce redeye, the light from the flash from the camera is moved slightly so that it doesn't hit the retina.
