Principal TalkForum: Principal TalkTopic: EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP TRAITSTopic Posted by: Melissa CheungOrganization: The Annenberg/CPB Channel Date Posted: Tue Jul 6 10:35:57 US/Eastern 1999 Topic Description: What traits do you think are necessary for effective leadership? Why?
Previous message Posted by: Kathleen Date posted: Wed Jul 5 9:15:24 2006 Subject: Effective leadership skills Message: After watching video #4, I began to wonder if there any principals participating that might share some tips about effective leadership skills. Do you think such skills can be learned over time? Will the faculty be patient with a principal that is "learning the ropes"? Or do you think that certain personalities are naturally effective principals and all others need not apply? I'd like to be a principal, but sometimes I doubt my own leadership skills.
