Subject: The reality of the technology workshop
Message: I love the workshop on technology but the reality is quite diiferent.
We have enough trouble trying to purchase the basics let alone tiny computers.
My students don't know how to turn a computer on, so I think
writing a short program is out. Does anyone have a suggestions?

Message: As far as I know I am as they asked us to write down our E-mail address when I first entered the class. I am taking the class with a math teacher friend of mine and we are enjoying it much more than we thought we would. To my knowledge only one or two more participants have even bothered to look at the website. The school I am at is so technologically backwards it is not funny. We have a lot of MAC's that don't work and the teachers who have IMB compats which is the majority of the faculty are not interested in using them for the most part). Sorry if you are a MAC person, but at least in Pinellas County Florida most business users and kids have IBM's and can not easily transfer their knowledge gained at school. Again I am extremely prejudice against the MACs. Thanks for letting me rattle on it is truely theraputic. Bob aka kidkayak @ aol.com
