Many of the students statements were not discernable, and it was difficult to identify which students said what. I found it was easier to video-tape my students and then watch parts-turn it off-make notes-and then continue watching portions at a time. When I teach, I always am aware of what the students are doing-if they are bored, I may see them playing around in their desks, braiding each others hair, talking or playing with each other, falling asleep, etc. Then I know I need to stop what I am doing, change how I am doing it-this is in reference to Think-Alouds and modeling, or that I need to get the students involved. | ||||||||
