| Comments | On the 18th of August, 2001, thousands of Monarchs gathered in the evening in our 4 acres of woods. This is surrounded by fields although there are other wooded areas nearby. It is on top of a hill. Every year we have seen these over the past 9 years we have lived here. It seems that they might be earlier than usual, however I haven't kept track of the date. This year seems even thicker than normal. |
