| Comments | The only sizable aggregation of Monarchs I've noted to date were about a dozen nectaring on Canada Thistle at Southern Head, Grand Manan Island, NB on August 26th. One had been tagged a few days earlier about 10 miles further up the island. Approximate location of Southern Head is 44 36N by 66 54W. I'll be out most days next week and will keep two eyes open for Monarchs. |
