| Event | Monarch Migration Sighting |
| Date of Sighting | 09/25/99 |
| Comments | We sighted about 10 monarchs in a 15 minute period. We were cutting silage corn and there were areas of goldenrod and other flowering plants that the monarchs were stopping and feeding on. The weather was warm with lots of sun and a brisk wind. The temp was high 70's. I captured 3 to tag with the University of Kansas program. |
