| Event | Monarch Migration Sighting |
| Date of Sighting | 09/24/99 |
| Comments | My students have been reporting seeing monarchs by the 5's and 10's flying high or nectaring on flowers in their backyards. We have been seeing 5-10 monarchs at a time flying in our school garden, nectaring on the New England asters and sunflowers. Often we see single monarchs flying high over the school grounds, going from north to south. The high temperatures have been upper 70's and middle 80's with lows40's and 50's. Some days have been very breezy. |
