| Event | Monarch Migration Sighting |
| Date of Sighting | 09/23/99 |
| Comments | My fourth grade class was excited to see monarchs flying into a southerly breeze on their way south. We only saw a total of 16 flying over the school parking lot, averaging about one every twenty minutes. The orange and black wings were vivid. The students had watched other monarchs emerge from our chrysalides in the classroom, ao their identification was very good. We did not count the ones we had raised and released earlier. |
