| Comments | We saw many, many beautiful Monarch's on our playground. There were too many for us to accurately count, but our estimation was approximately 100. My kindergarten students were so excited to see so many at once.
We let our last Monarch go on Friday. It emerged from it's chrysalis in our classroom that morning, and we set it outside on a low tree branch. By lunch time it had flown off to join other Monarch migrating south.
This has been a very exciting week for the students...letting our last Monarch free, and seeing many gather for their journey south! |
