| Event | Monarch Migration Sighting |
| Date of Sighting | 09/10/99 |
| Comments | We have been counting migrating monarchs and have seen: 9-3 57 9-8 131 9-9 191 9-10 171 These numbers are reported during each days science class and represent the number seen overnight and before school. Weekends are not included. A former student of mine called me Friday night (9-4) to come over and see something. I'll let him tell you about it "It was so cool that I couldn't belive my eyes. At first there were a few at 6:00 then they came from all directions at 7:00pm to 7:30pm you couldn't see which ones were dead leaves or monarchs. There were at least 900 to 1,300." Dexter |
