The egg laying took a nose-dive Friday with only 7 eggs being laid. I hope that Ms. Monarch is only resting. Past Ms. Monarchs have had a day of low production, only to bounce back the next day with a large number being laid. I hope this is the case, this year. Her daily body mass has held constant at 0.59 grams, so what ever mass she has lost due to egg laying, she is making up with her nectar consumption.
