| Comments | We went to Maine last week on vacation. We went to Pemaquid Point on the coast where I had a report of monarchs last
year. Talked to a man who lived there who said usually hundreds gather in
the trees there this time of year, he has seen maybe three of four this
year. We saw none on September 11th, and it was a gorgeous sunny day about
70 degrees. Last year tagged a few up there but this year saw absolutely none, except the one chrysalis I brought that hatched out. Hope she was a migrant because I don't think she would find a mate! Contributed to Monarch Watch |
