| Event | Monarch Migration Sighting |
| Date of Sighting | 10/16/02 |
| Comments | Wednesday, October 16, 2002 3:30-4:15 30 large, fresh monarchs nectaring at our school's butterfly garden. They were definitely headed in a southwesterly direction, but were drawn to the Gregg's Mist Flower. They would feed for a while and head off. Observed about 10 more that flew about twenty feet above us and didn't stop. Up till now we have just seen 1 or 2 each day since Sept. 3. |
