| Event | Monarch Migration Sighting |
| Date of Sighting | 10/14/02 |
| Comments | Monarchs have been been migrating through Northeast MS steadliy during the past two weeks. Randon counts of 2 to 6 per hour were common. Recent rains have provided lots of wildflowers for the travelers. I was in Calhoun and Cleburne County AL this weekend and saw a good number of monarchs. (around 10 per hour on Saturday). A cold front passed through over the weekend dropping temps to the low 40's this morning. |
