| Event | Monarch Migration Sighting |
| Date of Sighting | 10/07/02 |
| Comments | Within the last 3 days we have seen probably anywhere from 10 to 15 thousand monarchs within a 5 mile radius and it has been spectacular!! The weather has turned wet and much cooler and has held them up for a few days anyway!! They are feeding on our native plants, laying on tropical milkweed, along with queens, and we are tagging as fast as we can, while our local news reporters have been out to take pictures, which were broadcast last night, so all could enjoy!! |
