| Event | Monarch PEAK Migration |
| Date of Sighting | 09/23/02 |
| Comments | This first day of Autumn has greeted us with what appears to be the monarch migration at its peak. While taking our Autumn nature hike in the park next to our school we observed monarchs throughout the day. Between noon and 2:00 pm we saw over 50 of them, usually alone but sometimes in pairs. The warm sun and light breeze helped to move them along at a fast pace. |
