Comments

Monarchs started arriving Sunday the 22nd and have increased into the hundreds by this evening, Monday the 23rd. We are north of Enid about six miles, have lots of trees, grass and water on about 18 acres. The Monarchs regularly spend a few days here almost every fall.

September 25th Update
The monarchs are still here. Still about a thousand, no increase from Tuesday. Wind may change to the north Thursday, and that might trigger the Monarch's to move out. We'll let you know.

September 27th Update
We had a gentle north breeze today and most of the monarchs have gone. The temperature early this morning was about 52 degrees. There may be 50 or so left having overslept or missed the flight for some other reason. Perhaps they'll just stay here with us since the accommodations are so nice.
