| Event | Monarch Migration Sighting |
| Date of Sighting | 09/20/02 |
| Comments | Our first grade class let our newly hatched monarch go today. We watched it fly around for about 3 minutes and then it landed on some flowers in the warm sun. It then took off again, just as another couple of monarchs came flying by. Good timing! They flew off together. |
