| Event | Monarch Migration Sighting |
| Date of Sighting | 09/14/02 |
| Comments | For the first time ever, we saw 10 monarchs in one place on our property. They were gathered on our 2 butterfly bushes. The bushes were new this year, so we do not know if we would have had that many previously. We were very excited about them because we have seen virtually no monarchs this year prior to today. In fact, I have not even been able to find any larva to bring to my classroom this year. Last year I found 12. |
