| Event | Monarch Migration Sighting |
| Date of Sighting | 09/06/02 |
| Comments | Greetings Journey South. It's Sam Conroy and her son Paul Roy calling from Sault Ste Marie - we have arrived following an 800 km journey from Madoc and to our dismay, we have seen only 4 monarchs on the way. However, we left home Wednesday, Sept. 5 and we released our first female monarch at 7:00am under cloudy and overcast skies. I will be watching for monarchs on my way back home on Saturday and Sunday (and the weather is supposed to be very warm and sunny)... SamC |
